Currently a Distinguished Professor of computer science at the University of California, Davis, mainly in computer graphics. He has been a full time professor here since late 2007, but started in about 1978 as a part time lecturer while working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and increased to being a 50% time Professor in 1990. -SIGGRAPH
