Pierre Buffin and Henry Seydoux founded B.S.C.A (Buffin Seydoux Computer Animation) in 1984. In 1988, they finished a 6 minute 3D animation about insects living in a computer, The first "long animation" in France. Other early employees were Patrick Albert, Olivier Gilbert ,Georges Lagardere, Francois Blanchet, Christian Zumbiehl and Matthieu Schonholzer.
